Hi, Candace! We're in the mountains this week (close to Mt. Mitchell) and were thinking of taking the kids to the Arboretum in Asheville- did your kids like it? Would you recommend it?

I'm not sure how I write you back. I'm a little blog challenged. Anyway, the Arboretum is really great. I would advise to skip the educational center except that there'd is a cafe in it. The educational room wa s closed when we were there but maybe it will be different on your visit. Overall, we loved it at the arboretum. The nature hike at mount Mitchell is great for kids too.
